A working mom was arrested for allowing her 14 year old daughter to babysit her brothers and sisters during lockdown while she had to leave the house for work in one of the many negative consequences of the left’s overreaching lockdowns.
During the pandemic, her kids were forced to stay home and do school virtually, but as a single mom she still had to go to work. She relied on her oldest daughter to care for the other children while she was gone, until police were notified and the mom faced charges.
Just a few years ago, it would have been no big deal for a 14 year old to watch younger kids with parents away. But now the over-policing of parents has led to charges that make the mom look like a terrible person just for trying to make the best out of a tough situation.
Even Georgia’s own child protective services guidelines suggest 13 is an acceptable age for babysitting, according to the video. So why were they handcuffing the mom and booking her on charges?

At age 12 , I was babysitting 6 kids. 15 outside isn’t that long. 50 years ago 14 year old would marry. What about latchkey kids !!!
I went through this HELL. I left mine with an 18 year old babysitter so I could go to a certification meeting to become a certified Babysitter. The sitter was informed for the oldest child to wash 4-6 dishes in the sink. Well my child got pissed, punched the wall and broke his finger. I WAS CHARGED for it! Stop these Fumb Ducks Now!
The schools feel comfortable having 12 and 13 yr old kids asked about AND MAKE DECISIONS about sex gender, hormonal therapy, planning gender change actions including surgeries without parents being informed, just charging the families insurance for drugs and procedures. But a 14 yr old can’t babysit siblings, who are not even toddlers? I read the system was charging the mother with unfit parenting . They could even aim to sue to take her kids away. Judges could put them in foster care while decisions pending. Can they somehow find a way to declare her a terrorist; could be on the table in these sick cases.

This is a form of communism and no one has a right to tell a parent what they do with their children as far as babysitting my son was in the 5th grade I had no husband and he had to watch his sister in kindergarten after school till I got home and nothing bad happened and he was ten. It’s called no child support husband took off I had to raise my children and pay my mortgage and nobody was standing in my way or God damn it I would have killed them
I’m now in my eightys and I baby sat for some neighbors when I was in my early teens. No one seemed to think it unusual. The only problem I ever had was when I found the older brother teaching his younger how to pee while standing in the bed.

I was 12 when my parents divorced. I watched my 2 younger brothers, and prepared dinner, so it would be ready when my mom got home from work. We’re all just fine! The pussyfication of the divided states of America is in full force with this adminstration!
