It may be common for presidents to manipulate facts and figures during the State of the Union, but President Joe Biden took it to a new level during his speech on Tuesday.
For example, does he really expect Americans to believe that his administration supports funding the police or keeping kids in schools? Well, they apparently do expect you to fall for it. As Vice President Kamala Harris recently demonstrated when asked to explain the Ukraine-Russia situation in layman’s terms, Team Biden truly thinks the average voter is dumb.
After beginning with a show of solidarity with Ukraine, which Biden referred to as the Iranians, he heaped on the lies that argued to make products in America, despite his web of China connections. He also focused part of his speech on border issues, claiming he has a plan, despite the worst record in a generation on protecting the border.
Biden also wants to reopen the country now after two years of pandemic. He claims lots of mothers were forced to stay home with kids due to COVID-19. But he’s only half right. Many moms had to stay home because schools were closed for up to a year in some places due to leftist government overreach and powerful teacher’s unions.
