One of the many nightmares America is facing under the Biden regime right now is the threat of a $15 federal minimum wage. Democrats are planning to ram the $15 minimum wage through in reconciliation, so it can pass in the Senate with Kamala Harris as the tie-breaking vote.

The first federal minimum wage in America was passed during Reconstruction after the Civil War. Many new factory startups were moving to Southern states because cost-of-living was low and newly-freed black Americans were willing to work for much less. The first federal minimum wage in America was set in order to prevent black Americans from getting jobs, when business owners decided to keep the jobs in Northern states (since wages would be the same anyway).
Also keep in mind that the real minimum wage is always zero dollars, and especially now that automation and robots are a reality. The next time you’re at the grocery store and you see the self-checkout section, there’s the real minimum wage of zero dollars right in front of you. Just bag your own groceries and bask in the fact that the human checkers are no longer necessary, since they cost $15 an hour.

I have been looking but I can’t find where the athourity for setting a federal minimum wage is in the Constitution. It doesn’t seem to be there. Oh, I guess it is covered in tge phrase that anything nit specifically granted the federal government is relegated to the Separate States. Too bad SCOTUS doesn’t save us all a lot of time abd send a memo to Congress stating that fact so we don’t have to wait for a law suit to reach the court. The democrat/socialist/communist/fascist party has been violating the Constitution for so long that they just ignore it!
In simple terms SUPPLY AND DEMAND! Simple economics, higher wages, higher prices on everything, so the rise in wages are taken by higher prices!

$15/hour will not help those below the poverty mark. It will only raise that mark to the $15/hr level….AND everything will cost more, jobs will be lost and small businesses will collapse. But they will get tax dollars to push their left agenda and votes for awhile until people figure it out!

A phased in minimum wage of $15 over any period is wrong…80% of “ALL” previous investigative findings support the same negative conclusions. Having said that, the move would be consistent with the inflationary agenda of the Left’s Administration…kill jobs, supplant those lost jobs with imaginary “Green New Deal” jobs, open our borders, stifle our southern border states efforts to fight the pandemic, support reimagining or defunding enforcers of law and order by NON-SUPPORT of law enforcement, stimulus checks and free healthcare for illegals…actually, we need more “Executive Orders”…and the very first one should be a mandate that “ALL” left leaners be rounded up and detained until they are inoculated with 15c.c.s. of COMMON-SENSE before being released back into their communities.
Not only would it cause problem with the market it would cause more job loss and the intervention of more robotic/technical help as happened in the fast food industry when people were replaced by computer operated systems. Not to mention the larger burdens of unemployment and loss of tax revenues that would continue to run up more debt which I believe is their real intent.
Are they going to double the income for those on Social Security? When people are on a fixed income and it doesn’t change but everything else goes up in price they are going to be hurting even more. That will be the great legacy of the Democratic regime.

People should demand $15 an hour for all government workers first. We will consider them a test group. If it works then the American people can decide if this is a good idea.
