Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pulled an epic “own” against the libs by putting 50 illegals on a flight to the wealthy island a few days ago. The disconnect between the reality of what happened and how the liberals and media congratulated themselves over their response was pretty incredible.
In the liberals’ fantasyland, they think they actually helped the migrants by feeding them an ultra-cheap meal and assembling 50 cots or sleeping bags for them to sleep on for the night. The reality? The Martha’s Vineyard residents are huge donors to the Democrats, so they used their clout to have the army come in, round up the illegals, and immediately deport them to a military base.
Men with guns came and loaded the illegals on a bus and took them to Joint Base Cape Cod. “We’re so virtuous!” declared the Martha’s Vineyard residents about themselves for deporting the illegals at gunpoint.
Imagine what their reaction would have been if, say, the Governor of Texas were willing to call in the National Guard and deport illegal aliens back across the US-Mexico border. It probably wouldn’t be a good reaction, but we know that Martha’s Vineyard residents wouldn’t be congratulating the Texans.
