Everyday people cannot get back to work with young children at home, causing psychological and economic hardships for low-income families that were barely making ends meet before the pandemic.
Teacher’s union officials are also keenly aware that educators are not at heightened risk from in-person learning because sources such as the CDC indicate that young children are not spreaders. Wokesters are more likely to catch the virus picking up their to-go latte at Starbucks, and they know it.

how many times do our corrupt venal politicians have to be caught breaking the rules they pass for “the little people” before they get voted out of office. it is routine for congress to exempt itself from its most onerous laws.
Everything you said was the Truth! I am 77 years old and cannot imagine the strain of trying to teach kids at home. I had four children and know that I would have been beside myself with this virtual learning. I think it is a disgrace that so called “dedicated teachers” have not stood up by now and demanded to get back doing what they chose to do because they wanted to be a part of educating our youth. When do the parents get paid by the Union for doing their job? What a disgrace. I feel terrible for the kids and their parents!
Education is a “must”. The uneducated think they know the rules and continue to vote for a voice that claims “I will give you ????”. What ever happened to history, geography classes, politics, learn to understand the procedure.
Schools need to rethink the education of its students. And, how to rid the system of its corrupt, and wealthy, politicians.
