Brian Sicknick is a Capitol police officer who died on January 7th, a day after the J6 protest.
Initially, left wing “news” outlets like the New York Times used his death and claimed that he was killed by the “violent insurrections” after being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher.
The propaganda arm of the Democratic party was trying to make him into a martyr as they sought to demonize Republicans.
Roughly a month after publishing those initial claims, however, the NYT and others who ran with this lie were forced to retract the story after Capitol police and a medical examiner revealed it was a lie.
But the narrative had already been spread and the damage had already been done!
This fake news bit of propaganda gave the left and the theatrical January 6 committee all that they needed to continue spreading the LIE that the officer had been killed by Trump supporters.
Left-wingers like Jamie Raskin pressed on, arguing that it was the “murderous” Trump voters that “stormed” the Capitol who killed the officer– even though THEY HAD the footage proving Sicknick was FINE on January 6th.
Tucker Carlson has released that footage, and it shows the officer walking normally while guiding Trump supporters out of the building. He also wore a helmet which negates the argument that he was killed from a head injury.
“This tape overturns the single most powerful and politically useful lie that Democrats told us about January 6th,” Carlson said.
“They lied about the police officer they claimed to revere,” Carlson said. “If they were willing to do that, then their dishonesty knew no limits.”
