Just as they do anytime there is a mass shooting in America, Democrats have been jumping at the opportunity to take guns away from the American people in the wake of the Maine shootings.
These leftists love to try and convince the masses that guns are the problem, but that’s simply not the truth and taking the guns away won’t bring about an end to the violence.
New House Speaker Republican Mike Johnson, indicated in a recent interview that he’s well aware of that – and THANKFULLY, his words could indicate that the GOP is not just going to roll over and let the Democrats destroy the Second Amendment!
During a sit down with Sean Hannity, Johnson revealed the real issue that needs to be addressed.
“At the end of the day, the problem is the human heart. It’s not guns. It’s not the weapons,” said Johnson. “We have to protect the right of the citizens to protect themselves. And that’s the Second Amendment, and that’s why our party stands so strongly for that.”
Johnson continued to note that even though the Democrats will look to seize on the emotion surrounding this tragedy and use it to strip away our rights – that’s not going to happen.
Instead, he said that to truly serve the people, the government needs to help by looking to solve the mental health issues that are at the root of it all.

True but the gun does nothing as it’s an inanimate object. The problem is the shooter who’s a criminal and in almost ALL cases is a Demonrat in a lib mecca under public indoctrination training or a psycho for which nothing was done to correct which means failed parenting.
