Social Justice Hypocrisy Continues at the NBA

There seems to be a massive misunderstanding by the American left right now. There is a sentiment that the China of today is somehow different and distinct from the China of the past. Mao might have killed a bunch of people, but he started a revolution that led to an evolved China that is good for the world. That’s their general sentiment.

Here’s the darker truth. Mao was a murderous dictator. He set up a one-party system in his country that could not be overthrown. China played ball with the West to get access to our money, but they’re still the exact same system that was set up by Mao.

Today’s China is still Maoist China. Xi Jinping is every bit a true successor, as proven by the tens of millions of political prisoners who have disappeared over the last few years.

So, when a bunch of leftists like the NBA cover for China, they’re covering for a murderous, dictatorial regime. They are covering for the country of history’s most prolific murderer. They are advocating support for a country that deliberately spread a deadly disease across the entire planet, just to improve their internal self-image. That happened just a few months ago, by the way.

There is no excuse for the NBA’s hypocrisy, and in case you missed the latest batch, Glenn Beck breaks it down in this video. It’s hard to fathom that our own basketball association is willing to sell us out to a murderous regime just for a few bucks. After watching this video, it will be hard to draw any other conclusion.
