If the United States were the size of, say, France, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention might have a bit more credibility—and authority– when it comes to, you know, prevention.
We’re bigger, and our states have a say in what goes on. For example, Texas, a red state, has frequently told the feds that they’re not buying into the CDC’s chaos and conflicting advice of Drs. Walensky and Fauci. California’s blue state rulers, on the other hand, slavishly obey the “recommendations” and federal “guidelines,” even when the science says otherwise and the recommendations don’t make sense.
The problem with the blue state lock-step approach is that it is difficult to get a consistent straight answer—especially when it comes to making youngsters wear masks. Should it be mandatory? Do masks really work? What about natural immunity that often results from having recovered from a disease?
CDC Director Walensky was grilled by a senate committee last month, and the chairperson, Senator Patty Murray, D-Wash, spoke out loud what everyone was thinking: “I have heard from so many people who find the latest CDC isolation and quarantine guidance confusing and hard to interpret.”
However, the latest CDC guidance for K-12 students is rather easy to interpret. “CDC recommends universal indoor masking by all students (ages 2 years and older), staff, teachers, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.”
So, what are the prospects of the CDC easing up on that universal rule? The Director’s response recorded on a secret audio tape was, uh, it’s really not a rule; it’s, you know, a recommendation.

CDC is a JOKE!!!
COMMIES AT WORK , CHILDREN BEING ATTACK BY DEMOCRATS COMMIES
CDC has lost all credibility if they ever had any credibility at all
Center for Deception and Corruption
CDC needs to be restructured.
Unfortunately that is what we are discovering the hard way! It will cost our children dearly, though.
She will NEVER put those damn diapers on those children’s faces!!! If they try it then all the parents need to pull them out and let them end up closing their doors!!!!!!
Dr. Walensky doesn’t care about the kids and their future, because the masks lower their IQ.
Problem with the recommendation, is that it is backed by bribes from the government, big pharma, etc. Those who follow “recommendations get money and special favors, those that don’t get harassed. Why do you think that despite all the evidence that masks do not work and cause harm (low oxygen levels, increased CO2 and other waste products), based on studies even done by/for CDC/NIH, do school boards, governors, hospitals, etc. continue to mandate masks. Even in states where the governor of state has lifted the mandates, schools, universities, businesses, counties, and hospitals ignore the bans on mandates. CDC/NIH backing off a bit, because of the upcoming elections to help Democrats get elected. After the election if DP still in control (highly unlikely given how they have destroyed the economy) it will be back to masks again and mandatory jabs! It is all about money and control.
We know the CDC sought assistance from the teachers union last year before finalizing their recommendations for schools. Why should we think they are no longer beholden to the teachers unions? In my mind, when they asked for input from the union, they ceased to represent ‘science’.
