The Texas Democrats who fled to prevent the state legislature from achieving a voting quorum were yucking it up, at first. With the establishment media on their side, the phony narrative involved them protecting voting rights. The left-wing lawmakers weren’t just boozing it up on a private jet heading to Washington, despite all the selfies.
But the party slammed into a brick wall when the Lone Star lawmakers turned into super-spreaders. They infected members of the White House and eventually became persona non grata. It got so bad that the only person they could whine to was Vice President Kamala Harris, the least popular vice president of the modern era.
But these days, the humiliated Democrats don’t want to take their medicine for illegally abdicating their legislative duties. Back in Texas, sheriffs are waiting with arrest warrants and the lawless Democrats anticipate doing a perp walk. Yes, their shirts are on backward. They’ve got food stuck in their teeth. And they’re about to get arrested. If you think that’s embarrassing, watch Kennedy and Faila hand them even more discomfort.

Your point is well taken, and I agree. I wrote to the governor and explained in understandable terms that he should contact the State Comptroller, stop all payments going to those who abdicated their responsibilities to the people of Texas.
Interestingly, either Google (gmail) or Apple or big brother have wiped out ALL my saved emails, and those written. My question – what is it that they are so afraid to allow the people to speak their voice. Only people with something to hide are afraid of the truth. Earlier in another post, by the time it was posted, my comments had been altered from negative to only positive. I don’t need to ask “why”. We know why. Fear of the truth.
