Could it finally be the end for CNN’s Brian Stelter? That’s the report spreading now, just one day after the network announced it will close down its streaming platform CNN+ less than 30 days after its launch.
The news won’t break too many hearts, as the liberal host has alienated himself from many Americans. His ongoing name calling and mislabeling of conservatives and anyone remotely patriotic has made him an all-around boob.
In recent months, even a growing number of voices among those on the left have grown tired of Stelter’s antics, making him vulnerable during a time CNN’s new leadership is making big changes. Stelter’s show’s ratings are so bad, that when he went on a week’s vacation earlier this year, this show’s ratings actually went up!
It’s no longer only about CNN’s former president leaving or even CNN+. Stelter could soon join the ranks of Chris Cuomo and others ousted from the network as it seeks to rebrand as an actual news source again.
But it hasn’t happened yet. Expect Stelter to fire away at the gossip and fight the push to send him packing until the bitter end. He’s not likely to go without a fight, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next in the ongoing adventures regarding the controversies at CNN.
