While it’s no surprise that people are fleeing poorly run Democrat cities, the numbers prove that these cities are much worse off than they think.
According to a new report published by real estate brokerage Redfin, a record number of potential U.S. homebuyers are seeking to relocate, with the top cities being deserted by Americans being the most fiercely liberal cities in the country — San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
Conversely, the majority of the cities where Americans are going are in red states and or red cities.
Acting as an indictment of their failed policies, this means that people are abandoning cities led by Democrats in favor of places that are thriving under Republican rule.
Still, the Democrats are trying to convince you that these failed local leaders – like California Governor Gavin Newsom and NYC Mayor Eric Adams– are somehow good candidates to lead the country as a whole.
While Democrats are begging citizens to return, one of their most critical failures driving people away is skyrocketing crime rates.
The issue is so important, in fact, that former President Donald Trump recently called out the Democrats over crime, saying, “There is no higher priority than cleaning up our streets, controlling our borders, stopping the drugs from pouring in, and quickly restoring law and order.”
“In the Democrat rule, in Democrat-run cities, Democrat-run states, and a Democrat-run federal government, the criminals have been given free rein more than ever before, Trump added.”
“We’re living in such a different country … Our country is now a cesspool of crime. We have blood, death, and suffering on a scale once unthinkable because of the Democrat Party’s effort to destroy and dismantle law enforcement all throughout America. It has to stop, and it has to stop now,” Trump explained.
