This story is not getting the attention is deserves. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is taking a break from her nightly show, “The Rachel Maddow” show. This is amid a HUGE shake up at the network that is shifting its line up in a big way.
How the network has chosen to replace Rachel Maddow’s time slot and shift other hosts time slots has made it obvious that MSNBC has no talent left, leaving only leftist blowhards with no real journalism skills. While Maddow is working on some other projects during her break, including a film, the network seems to be crumbling.
MSNBC came to fame during the Bush administration with its focus on progressive values that was even stronger in opposition to conservatism than CNN. Maddow became the strongest of the voices on the network, but now where have they gone? The answer is: DOWN.
A look at the recent lineup shows things aren’t what they used to be, despite the network’s plans to add streaming shows and even more content. It’s no accident that in January Fox News’ ratings beat MSNBC and CNN combined.
Americans ultimately vote with their remote control on what they care about, and MSNBC is increasingly not in the picture. Unless something changes, Maddow better turn her side projects into something bigger, because her main gig isn’t going to be there for her to return to in the future.

I would not have known that Madcow stopped her show except for this report. Elon Musk has recently expressed an interest in media.
