Antifa had their own New Year’s Eve celebration in mind for Portland’s downtown district. Marking its 221st day of “protests,” the anarchist crowd inflicted tens of thousands of dollars more in damage to a city that has clearly had enough.
Squishy liberal Mayor Ted Wheeler was slow on the uptake. The protests, he continued to claim were “mostly peaceful,” except when they actually were not. Taking advantage of the fact that most of the rioters were white men, the Mayor Wheeler decided to follow President Trump’s lead and declare that it was time to “push back.”
“My good-faith efforts at de-escalation have been met with ongoing violence and even scorn from radical Antifa and anarchists,” the mayor complained. Resembling a fed-up and somewhat emaciated looking Pop-Eye, the mayor voiced his bottom line: “That’s all I can stand. I can’t stand no more.”
Now that the city government has lost all credibility and the police are totally demoralized over the lack of support, the mayor has decided to “use additional tools” to bring the violence to an end. It’s “time to push back harder…and take more risks” to battle the lawlessness that has been going on for over six months now.
Sheriff Mike Reese gave reporters a chilling recap of what the rioters were up to. It was nothing less than insurrection and an attempt to storm Portland’s federal justice center after rioting downtown. “Commercial rockets had been fired at the building, and a Molotov Cocktail had been thrown as well.”

For some reason I’m glad I learned early in my life about the benefits of the birds & the bees as they were responsible for a lot of the pollination of the flowers and the trees. Made the understanding of different “plumbing” of “guys and doll” a lot easier to understand. Would venture a guess by the age of 4-5 most little “guys” knew why the difference, and have heard the little girls knew even earlier. I’m sure most of the residents in Portland are very decent people. We as a country need to help them. My only requirement before we send in assistance, is that the mayor must be removed from office before we help in any fashion whatsoever! In other words, if Wheeler remains the mayor, we do nothing to help!

Ya I live in small town OK. Real comforting to know all of us have gun ranges in the back yard. We only have about 25 homes to protect, and have about a 15 minute response time before our sheriff would likely show up. Even with the 15 minute response time we’d kind of like BLM, or ANTIFA to get confused and try to “visit” our quiet little neighborhood with malice on their minds. Paper targets can get quite boring
