The Mayor of New York City, Pothead Bill de Blasio, is a real piece of work. In an incident just a few days ago, a New York City police officer got fed up with the protesters being jerks in his neighborhood. In response, the officer got on the loudspeaker in his vehicle and blared the words, “Trump 2020” at them.
Pothead Bill’s response has been to suspend the officer without pay for engaging in political activity while on duty. But is Pothead Bill applying this rule evenly among all police officers? You can probably guess the answer to that question.
When the rabid leftwing Chief of the NYPD — who is a political appointee and not really a real cop — saw a political opportunity earlier this year, he took a knee with Black Lives Matter. According to Pothead Bill, that was not a political statement and therefore Pothead Bill’s handpicked Chief of Police was not punished.
In the minds of Democrats, it’s never political when someone does something that they favor. It’s only “political activity” if it’s done in favor of their opponents. They have one set of rules for themselves, and heaven help if you run afoul of those rules because they will crush you. But then they have a different set of standards for themselves.

Hi! If you haven’t worked in the criminal justice field, please don’t be quick to judge. I have worked in it and my degree is in Criminal Justice. There are things that we would all love AG Barr to do; however, he has DOJ protocol, policies and procedures that unfortunately can tie his hands. He has to peel back the layers of an investigation much like an onion to discover the players and their criminal involvements. He cannot reveal his discoveries too quickly without jeopardizing his case.

I can hardly stand that these elected officials smoke pot on the job, it’s a wonder they don’t function as they should. Too few an elite families have run this country for decades, if not a couple hundred years thinking they are the only people with the say and knowhow of running this country. We must challenge our young to a non hedonist, non narcissist, personal integrity, patriotism and goodwill for their fellow citizens and country. The cop should use the law /court system to rightfully take back his right to continue working, if those on the leftist were not kneeling were not suspended.
The officer who was kneeling with the BLM communists should be fired, and the officer supporting the president and law and order, should not only be praised but promoted.

This action taken against the officer is illegal. It is a sign of what socialism is going to do to people. Liberals are the least liberal and compromising people in this nation. I feel for this officer since my degree is in criminal justice with a minor in Human Resources Management. I also worked in state law enforcement, so I know what is coming by watching the signs. This officer needs to sue for enough compensation to retire for the rest of his life.
If the officer was on duty (and he was or he wouldn’t have been able to use the loudspeaker in his patrol car) he should not be political either for or against any party. I was in the U. S. Navy for over 20 years and it was against the UCMJ for us to back either political party while in uniform. When we were out of uniform we could be as political as we wanted (in those days, now – not so much) but while in uniform we had to be non-political.
glen you are correct……and in order to file a discrimination suit you have to be part of a protected class…..so unless this officer was a minority, LGBTQ, a woman, or one of the other protected classes that discrimination suit is out the window just like Hunter’s laptop

Why didn’t they suspend without pay police officers who use excessive violence against an unarmed person like the thin, homeless man on the subway who was punched hard in the head by Officer Adonis Long, who then pepper- sprayed the man and the man had to be taken to a hospital crying and bleeding. When an officer uses violence, this leads to hatred and danger for the good police officers also, especially when that violent officer is not suspended without pay.

I left Upstate New York (Rotenchester area ) in 1973 .At that time the tax was 8.3% on a dollar and taxed anything and everything .I have never gone back to live and only go back every few years to see family .I remember when I was growing up hearing how all our tax dollars were going to the Albany and New York city areas .I am now 71 and have never been any closer to New York city than Poughkeepsie New York .I have seen it the only way I ever intend to see it and that is from 10 to 20 thousand feet up in the air. One of my older brothers retired from the New York State Dept. Of corrections as a captain after 30 years .As soon as he retired he moved out of the State of New York saying they would not get another dime of taxes out of him .No one admits to voting for Cuomo or De’blowhard to other New Yorkers !
