In one of the stranger stories out of the Biden White House, a non-binary nuclear official was just caught red-handed stealing luggage from an airport in Minneapolis, and then lying to police to cover it up.
Sam Brinton, the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy, was charged with felony theft after stealing luggage worth more than $2,300 from the airport.
Brinton was spotted by surveillance footage which could clearly see him grabbing the luggage, removing its ID tag, and quickly leaving the airport.
The Biden admin official was later seen using that same luggage on two separate occasions.
Initially, Brinton told police he did not steal the suitcase, before changing up his story and later saying they he took it by ‘mistake.’
“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual,” Brinton first told the officer. “That was my clothes when I opened the bag.”
However, Brinton called the officer back two hours after their first conversation and confessed to not being “completely honest.”
Brinton was hired by the Biden administration as part of a major diversity push, and became one of the government’s first non-binary officials when he took the job.
This news clearly reveals that the administration, in their efforts to be woke, are not exactly hiring the cream of the crop.
