NBC News recently aired a segment on an alarming rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations, which probably scared the crap out of many concerned parents. Here was the lead-in:
“In the last four weeks, the average number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 jumped 52 percent, from a low of 1,270 on November 29 to 1,933 on Sunday, according to an NBC News analysis of the Department of Health and Human Services.”
That gloomy news somehow doesn’t match the reporting of other news outlets. Another liberal news outlet, The New York Times, who ran this report:
“For children without a serious medical condition, the danger of severe COVID is so low as to be difficult to quantify…The risk of long COVID among children – a source of fear among many parents—is also very low.”
That was backed up by the CDC, which, according to a report in the New York Intelligencer that, “among children the mortality risk from COVID-19 is actually lower than from the flu.”
Those conflicting reports seem to be at odds with each other. However, buried nine paragraphs deep in the NBC report was this nugget of obfuscation disguised as clarity. “(The HHS spokesperson said,) We test everybody who’s admitted to the hospital for whatever reason to see whether or not they have COVID, and we’re definitely seeing an increase in cases.”
Here’s the kicker: “However,” the spokesman continued, “we’re really not seeing an increase in children who are hospitalized for COVID or in the intensive care unit for COVID.”

Note the quote of what NBC said: “In the last four weeks, the average number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 jumped 52 percent” Now if they were a legitimate news organization instead of Pravda for Big Pharma and the Left, they would have been honest and said these hospitalizations were not ‘because’ of Covid-19, but other illnesses. That they were tested and showed positive for Covid-19 but had no symptoms and it was not causing them to be sick.’ with their statement, not clarifying it 8 or 9 paragraphs later after 90% of people quit reading. (And make no mistake, they know that.) Just shows how our media twists the narrative for the Left (Yes, Big Pharma is a HUGE part of that) to scare the crap out of American parents to get their kids, who thankfully very very few get deathly sick from Covid-19, to take the jab. All to line Big Pharma’s pockets, and therefore the Left’s election coffers. It’ sinful and they will one day have to answer for their lies and deception. Hopefully while we still have a nation to rebuild.
