A group of Christians sang worship music on a plane, and Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar yet again plays the victim in a situation that does not involve her at all. Matt Walsh gives his thoughts in his trademark commentary.
Yes, the leftist leader who supports the end of the Jewish state and claims Americans are Islamaphobes if they don’t agree with her views is now blasting Christians who sing about their faith on airplanes on the holiest day of the year for them. Omar might not like it, but in America we have a little thing called religious freedom that still exists among our rights.
This includes both the freedom of speech and the freedom of worship. She might not like it and is well within her rights to say so. But just know that those she opposes do too.
The freedoms are a stark contrast with what Omar might experience in any nation in the Middle East. We’re not competing with countries that persecute those who don’t hold to the nation’s dictated religion.
But apparently Omar hasn’t gotten enough attention lately and maybe she’s looking at a tough vote at the November midterms, so she’s sounding off and playing the victim again. But this time, she doesn’t have as many people running to her defense.
On the bright side, you can now sing on an airplane without wearing a mask, but that’s only if the Biden administration’s appeal is not successful. You have to see the video to understand how ridiculous the latest attack is and realize why the Omar and the Squad need to go.
