Megyn Kelly on CNN: “Mark my words, there are more shoes to drop”

Megyn Kelly responds to the statement by CNN President Jeff Zucker that he is leaving the network after making public a multi-year affair with a fellow executive with a promise that CNN is not giving us the whole story, and that “there are more shoes to drop.”

Kelly notes that Zucker’s relationship with his colleague was an open secret at the network, and that many journalists and people in the media industry had known about the couple for some time. The two had previously worked together at NBC, though both claim the affair is recent.

What Kelly brings up about why this is such a big deal when so many others have down played the relationship is a good point. It was a big deal because the president of the company promoted his lover to a higher office while they worked together, possibly over other qualified people.

It’s also interesting that we haven’t heard from other network execs on this story. Why does Gollust—Zucker’s lover–still have a job? That makes you wonder if CNN’s board was just using this tryst as an excuse to oust him amid plunging ratings. Or if, as Kelly has suggested, there is more to this story. There’s a lot still to come, including more people at CNN likely to lose their jobs over the issue in the days ahead.

That’s not good news for the network that already saw multiple scandals in the past year, including Chris Cuomo fired over helping in the cover up of his brother’s sexual harassment scandal when he was governor of New York.

Check it out for this material and more in a fiery interview on the problems within CNN, the used to be most trusted name in news.

  1. Believing that CNN is the most trusted name in news is like believing that in a difficult time, a senile, racist schmuck like Joe Biden has the answer.

    1. I totally agree with you . I have never known CNN to have ever been a real honest news show ! Where I come from CNN was always known as the Clinton News Network ! If the dumocraps did anything it was always good and honest ? But the other side was always a bunch of criminal misfits !

  2. There’s more to it than that. It is a CIA run network run by pedophiles. Recently there were two reporters who were exposed for being pedophiles who had to step down.
