In a recent interview on the Rubin Report, Dr. Drew Pinsky told the truth about the effectiveness of wearing face masks during the Covid pandemic. Widely known as “Dr. Drew,” he is an internist, addiction medicine specialist, and an American media personality. He hosted a nationally syndicated radio show from 1984 to 2016.
During the interview Dr. Drew cited two famous studies on mask wearing. One was the Danish study and another one originated in Bangladesh. The Danish Study found that masks are only 15-20 percent effective in blocking out airborne Covid virus particles. The Bangladesh study produced similar results.
Today’s opinion leaders, Dr. Drew says, behave as if wearing a mask provides a 100 percent protection against Covid transmission. Well, maybe some protection indoors, but wearing a mask outdoors, according to Dr. Drew makes no sense. ‘You’re better off just distancing,” says Dr. Drew.
The problem is that the liberal media isn’t reporting these facts. They are actively trying to hide study results like these from the American people.
Then there are the troubling and massive negative effects of requiring children to wear masks. He notes that school mask mandates could blow up in educator’s face. He cites data on depression in children and learning anxiety when we remove facial expressions from the communication mix.
Finally, Dr. Rubin has some scathing criticism for Dr. Fauci’s bungling of the mask issue. Dr. Fauci’s inconsistent and conflicting advice to the public has completely ruined his credibility. Said Dr.Rubin, “To me the ship has sailed with this guy.”
Blue paper masks are good for blowing around parking lots and trashing the environment. Cloth homemade masks are great for collecting bacteria when wet from breathing, touching, reusing without washing. Masks make breathing and communicating more difficult and seeing for that matter if wearing glasses. If masks are as effective as all the so called experts claim why haven’t we been wearing them to protect us from the flu or even the common cold. And why in the world do people wear them when alone in their cars or walking in the park? Why are vaccinated individuals getting Covid? What’s going to be the limit on boosters? Why are the Washington elite seen bumper to bumber in crowded rooms handshaking and not wearing masks. No wonder people are confused.

I am a biological and nuclear trained retiree. I wear a Tight-fitting 99 with two valves and filters, then a loose fitting industrial/medical 95 only in the presence of people. I wear the 95 only for show because the Fauci Farce says 99s are illegal and spread only in the presence of people. They are effective if you deliberately force air out. When you get home Use a high power UVC Light for at least two hours on them….use new 99 filters every time. Buy the damned filters. in quantity.
