During President Trump’s last year in office, 42,873 Americans died of opioid overdoses, primarily from fentanyl that was smuggled into the country from China via the Mexican drug cartels. In 2021 – Joe Biden’s first year in office – we had 64,809 fentanyl overdose deaths. In 2022, the number is up to 72,935 fentanyl overdose deaths (so far).
By any metric, that is a complete failure. Our wide-open southern border is killing Americans, and not just due to all the drug overdoses. More Americans are being murdered by illegal aliens and our largest cities are now crime-ridden hellholes, thanks to no-cash bail and Democrat soft on crime policies.
The fentanyl overdose problem isn’t going to go away anytime soon, either. The Biden economy is destroying so many families that young working-age people in particular are going to keep using fentanyl as a way to escape from this misery we’ve inflicted on ourselves as a nation.
The truly sad thing is that Democrats know they’re complete failures on this issue. They have absolutely no response when faced with the fact that the open southern border is getting record numbers of Americans killed.

I know for a Fact that Illegals get paid on average More than Americans in certain job sectors, so if the companies would offer same or higher pay to American Citizens, than we would probably do the work!
What jobs will Mexicans do that other nationalities won’t do? FYI…I am 70 years old. I have seen people from different countries as field pickers, working at hotels cleaning rooms, dishwashers at restaurants and fast food joints, etc…If you knew anything about history, you would find that many cultures have done all of these jobs that you say Americans won’t do. We’ve done them. I am a great example. I worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken when I was 18. I also worked at Broadway Department stores. I also worked at 2 small hardware stores in Los Angeles. I worked my way up the ladder. I am Caucasian. I have worked with Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Germans, Mexicans, Indians, African Americans, etc. you know nothing because you probably weren’t around in 1950, 1960 or 1970. I was!
