In their effort to replace law enforcement with social workers, Los Angeles citizens have experienced a soaring crime rate, highlighting a key contrast between the reimagining of policing in the city versus the reality of safety in the City of Angels.
Homicides, shootings, and gang violence have shot up triple digits under its new far-left leadership. Yes, some crimes have dropped, though they are more likely contributed to the city’s Draconian stay-at-home orders that kept residents at home rather than roaming city streets.
It’s no surprise that tens of thousands of residents have moved from Los Angeles over the past year. With the law-abiding, taxpaying citizens fleeing for safer states, those remaining will likely only escalate criminal activity.
Of course, this could change if certain crimes are redefined as planned. However, the only true way to improve the situation is a change of leadership with the audacity to stand up to criminal activity and back law enforcement as they make the streets of their town safe again.
Sadly, California’s disastrous model appears to be exported to Washington, D.C., where the state’s leftist leaders continue finding new jobs in the Biden administration. But if America goes the way of California, and especially of Los Angeles, we’re in for a dark future that will involve an unprecedented level of criminal activity.

I doubt if any social workers want this AT ALL. But I understand a police officer will go with them on each call, so I suppose they’ll be taking the first bullets, social workers the rest if the officer falls. They won’t be armed with more than a smile. Calls they are sent on can get volatile and dangerous; family abuse, child welfare or custody issues, mental health, etc.

Things are far from perfect, I wouldn’t want to lie about it, but most folks respect the flag, now their heads for prayer and listen to both sides before we smack the idoit.(figuratively of course, mostly) most around here still say yes, sir and no name, please, thank you and excuse me.
