At this point, we should probably start minting our money with “15 days to slow the spread” on every coin and bill. We absolutely cannot ever allow anyone to forget this terrible lie. The 15 days are now well over 200, and we haven’t seen the spread slow down one iota. In fact, we can look at countries across the world — all taking their own approach to fighting against the Chinese virus — and no one has stopped this thing.
Here’s another way to look at it. We have a flu vaccine, and we still can’t stop the flu from circulating every year. What kind of hubris does it take to believe that shaming people about masks and shutting down the economy will magically kill a virus that is seeded in every country on the planet?
All of this matters because Joe Biden is already making announcements about how he plans to deal with the Wu Flu when he takes office. He has announced a new virus tzar. That tzar has made it clear that he intends to issue federally mandated lockdowns.
Joe Biden is going to use emergency powers to seize control over our economy and force people out of work. It will have no impact on the spread of disease, but it will kill our economy.
