The Labor Department released the October consumer price index, and it is much more alarming than experts expected. Consumer prices have increased by 6.2 percent since last year, the largest increase in the U.S. for 30 years.
Despite this terrible report, Team Biden keeps insisting that we need to pass one more multi-trillion-dollar stimulus bill, in addition to the previous trillion dollars in spending already approved.
James Surowiecki, MSNBC’s chief economist, echoed the Whitehouse spin by claiming that the media has been fear mongering about the effects of inflation Americans are facing. He pointed out an “odd CNN segment” that highlighted the effect of rising milk prices for a family with nine children who purchases 12 gallons of milk per week and wrote that CNN had capitulated to the media’s worse tendency: “taking a real issue and over-hyping it beyond recognition.” He claimed the network was “frightening” viewers rather than “enlightening” them.
Surowiecki declared that Americans were “$13.5 trillion wealthier” at the end of 2020 than they were at the start of 2019. According to the MSNBC exec, American consumers are “relatively speaking flush”, and that there is a strong demand for unavailable goods and services, which has driven prices higher. He said, “The inflation that we are seeing isn’t… some mysterious condition that’s affected the economy.”

Biden doesn’t give a crap about the average American (who isn’t getting paid to lie and support his party on CNN). They are so out of touch. Everything I purchase cost so much more than it did a year ago as well as prior to Covid. It’s not demand, it’s incompetence in leadership. It’s hateful that mainstream media ignore the problems and support Biden instead of showing non- biased “reporting.”
