White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is back, this time with the impossible task of explaining why President Joe Biden referred to Kyle Rittenhouse as a white supremacist last year after the shooting incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Her answer? She didn’t have one. She told Fox News reporter Peter Doocey who asked her why Biden said that about Rittenhouse that she wasn’t going to comment on it. “What I’m not going to speak to right now is anything about an ongoing trial nor the president’s past comments,” she said.
Then what’s left? She turns to broad, sweeping statements about riots and gun control that did nothing to address the question. Too bad. It would have been nice to have seen an apology for accusing a teenager of being a white supremacists who only fired when someone pointed a gun at him.
But it’s not happening and likely never will. Good thing Biden isn’t the judge and jury on this one. Rittenhouse will soon discover if the jury will vindicate his self-defense claim and officially contradict Biden’s nonsensical statements one again. Watch her full reaction to the question for yourself.
