But Joe Biden’s handlers and Kamala Harris have taken a long-standing challenge and turned it into a life-and-death humanitarian crisis.

The majority of Puerto Ricans don’t want to become a state, so that won’t happen any time soon. DC was formed by Constitutional Amendment, so only another amendment will be able to change its status.
