Europe’s transition to “clean energy” is coming back to haunt them as residents are facing a crippling energy crisis. A British game show, meanwhile, is offering to pay contestants energy bills as a prize if they win – acting as an example of the dystopian nightmare that much of Europe has become.
The show features a segment called “Spin to Win,” where the hosts spin a wheel and callers have the opportunity to win prizes. In the past, contestants would win cash, but now there’s a portion of the wheel that awards payment for the contestant’s absurd energy costs.
“This week we’ve got our usual cash prizes, but you could also win some extra cash to pay your energy bills until the end of the year,” host Phillip Schofield said. “That’s four months of energy bills taken care of.”
The cost of energy is up across the world, but Europe has been hit particularly hard given their “clean” energy policies which have forced them to rely on Russian natural gas.
Some viewers admitted that the new prize was a “sad reflection” of the nation’s energy crunch, while others said it proves how the UK is in for major trouble.
“When you can win the prize of having your energy bills paid and they pretend like it’s a good thing, that’s when you know this country is f***ed,” one viewer wrote.
While the crisis may feel far from home, If Joe Biden and the rest of the Democrats get their way, and move forward with their far-left climate agenda, this same cruel reality will soon hit American households.
