Well, in the video link below, she’s shown repeating it about 20 times—twice in front of fawning media libs like Lesley Stahl and Steven Colbert, who look at Nancy as if she’s channeling Mother Teresa.
Nancy actually appears to be channeling a hybrid combination of that softy Mr. Rogers and bombastic Theodore Roosevelt. Here’s how Nancy puts it, “When you’re in the arena, you have to take a punch or throw a punch—for the children.”
So, what is the most important issue facing Congress today? According to the Speaker of the House, our top legislative official, “I always say the same thing: our children, our children, our children.”
Grownups would probably point to the recent surge in crime, inflation, and President Biden’s concentration on the Ukraine border instead of ours as the most important work of our leaders. But, not Nancy.
