Texas Republican Rep. Kevin Brady appeared on “Mornings with Maria” this week on Fox Business to warn Americans the next step in Democrats radical agenda is to raise your taxes.
While the report may not be surprising, the details might be. The radical legislation in the works is so bad that even some Democrats are pushing back, knowing that in an election year, significant tax increases are bad news at the ballot box.
But with the highest inflation in 40 years and spending trillions in wasteful leftist programs, Democrats have nowhere else to turn for more income except taxpayers. Those “free” promises of child tax credits and more are already beginning to boomerang into new taxes that will destroy many everyday Americans.
The good news is that things don’t have to stay this way. With the midterms just months away, the GOP is working to push some of these efforts until next year when Republicans could control the House and lead a different effort.
If conservatives can win back the House, they can at least keep Biden’s leftist agenda from moving ahead, even if they can’t get him to sign their own bills that would improve the situation.
