Democrats freaked out Monday when South Carolina Republican Rep. Jeff Duncan showed up in to the House floor wearing a mask with the words “Let’s Go Brandon.”
In case you haven’t heard, the phrase became a viral sensation after a recent NASCAR race. The NBC interviewer was hearing noise of a chant from the crowd as she interviewed Brandon, falsely saying that the fans were chanting, “Let’s go Brandon.”
The truth was that the rowdy crowd was chanting, “F*** Joe Biden.”
As expected, Nancy Pelosi and friends weren’t very happy over the stunt. But isn’t she the one who required House members to wear masks? I guess you get what you ask for in this case.
Plus, it’s not like he was saying anything. At least verbally. But the message said what many Americans are thinking. We’re tired of clueless Biden pretending he wants to build back better while he leaves the border wide open, leaves Americans in Afghanistan, jacks up gas prices and inflation and forces millions of Americans to take a controversial shot.
Even our lawmakers are still being fined if they don’t wear a mask in the House. They also have to go through metal detectors. The left can’t be too careful with Republicans these days. Someone might just exercise their Second Amendment right to bear arms.
If you haven’t seen it already, and even if you have, it’s worth a watch and a share as at least one American political leader has decided to have fun with a phrase that has made people laugh while making a political point.
