This debate between President Trump and Joe Biden was one of the cleverest and most successful setups the left has managed yet. You knew the media would be biased against the President. You knew the debate wouldn’t be fair. We were all prepared for it, but they did something extra sneaky.
The moderator for the debate was a major personality on Fox News. If you’re not paying attention, that seems like the left is throwing the Republicans a bone to keep them from complaining. In reality, it was a trap. The Fox News contributor who moderated the debate was none other than Chris Wallace.
Chris Wallace is not a Trump supporter. He’ll get that title from the left because he dares to say things that don’t fall in line with extreme leftism from time to time, but he revealed his true colors moderating that debate. He outright debated Trump when Biden wasn’t up to the task. He shielded Biden from having to answer tough questions. He also aligned his questioning with left-wing talking points, even accusing President Trump of supporting white supremacy.
We should not have been surprised by this. Chris Wallace has tipped his hand before. It was in an interview with President Trump. We should have realized then that he’s an establishment crony and never-Trumper. Allowing him to moderate a debate was a mistake from the beginning.

I agree with you, Mary – my first thought on Friday morning was “how did Pelosi manage to get the President and Melania to catch COVID-19 at the same time”? I still think there is something fishy in Denmark about it – and it may be one of the arrows in her quiver. The timing is too perfect, causing the cancellation of the last two debates, and the election a month away. She has already demonstrated that her insistence on mail-in balloting is working in her favor.
Why can’t we ask the question “Did the Democrats ask the Chinese to release the virus in order to bring down the administration?”

People forget that Biden years ago introduced the bill to tax social security benefits which is the same as reducing or taking away Social Security payments . I thought the debate was a travesty. Wallace refused to let the president contest Biden’s lies. I like the idea of having two moderators. The Republican moderator asks Biden questions, and the Democrat moderator asks President Trump questions. This way the public will have an honest debate, if that is possible. It seems as it would be fair and even, without much “spin” on either side.
