Conservatives everywhere agree there is no rift between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. “That’s not where this is,” Mark Halperin and Rick Gates agreed in a new interview with Eric Bolling on “The Balance” on Newsmax.
Mainstream reports this week reported from only anonymous sources that the former president thinks DeSantis lacks the charisma needed to run for president. Democrats and leftist media outlets always cite anonymous sources when they are making up their gaslighting news stories.
DeSantis has long said he is focused on running for reelection as governor of Florida next year and has no plans to run for the White House in 2024. Trump has all but already made his announcement.
The ongoing feud is a manufactured circus show made up to create friction within the Republican Party. Democrats and their leftist media cohorts are trying to distract voters from Joe Biden’s disastrous policies and all of the news out this week about his low approval ratings.
The real divide is among Democrats. They have the White House, and lead both the Senate and the House, but can’t pass much of anything to fulfill their radical agenda.
The trend has become so bad that the party has turned on two of its own senators who have opposed some of the left’s worst ideas. Build Back Better isn’t happening. Neither is the new Vote For The People bill. Instead, Democrats will have to trim down some of its agenda into smaller bills to have a chance before the House likely flips red in November and they lose any chance they had at passing their agenda.
