Disturbing new documents have revealed that despite the Biden administration claiming that they were shutting down the Disinformation Governance Board – they have secretly been working to censor free-speech all along.
The administration announced earlier this year the Department of Homeland Security, at their direction, would create the Disinfo board which many dubbed as Biden’s own personal ‘Ministry of Truth.’
After intense backlash the board was shut down … at least that’s what they told the public anyways.
As it turns out, the censorship board not only continued to operate in the shadows, but had been doing so since before the 2020 election.
The Intercept reported that by announcing the creation of the board, the Biden administration was looking to formalize an operation that had been in effect for years.
The documents found that leading up to the 2020 election, tech companies, including Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, Wikipedia, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Verizon Media, met monthly with the FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and other government representatives to unilaterally determine what would be considered “misinformation.”
With Biden in office, the operation has shifted slightly to running interference for him and the Democrat agenda.
According to the report, the Department of Homeland Security has been targeting information on topics such as “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine.”
