Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy grilled Democrats at a GOP press conference on Monday, noting that the left embracing Biden’s open border policies has led to a number of additional problems for Americans.
For example, it’s not just innocent asylum seekers crossing the border. Border Patrol agents have arrested countless criminals at the border who have been convicted of everything from murder to child rape.
Biden’s open border policies have also caused sex trafficking and human smuggling to explode in the country. Vulnerable young women and girls are put in the sex trafficking industry under the ruse of a job or housing or drugs.
In addition, fentanyl overdoses have skyrocketed nationwide. This isn’t just something affecting drug users either. Kids who think they are taking “safe” pills like Xanax or ADD drugs are unknowingly taking drugs laced with fentanyl and dying.
Weapons trafficking is another issue, which is odd for Democrats to support when they’re regularly blasting the Second Amendment.
Those are just the direct crimes. The indirect impact goes much deeper. Title 42 address the spread of COVID-19 and other health concerns. There’s also the economic impact of more people in communities placing a strain on local resources.
Don’t forget, all of these social programs being used to fund the care and transport of illegal immigrants are being paid by your tax dollars. Biden has spent billions in just his first year in office housing, transporting, feeding, clothing and caring for the over 2 million illegals he’s ushered in.
