Democrat Candidate Faked her own Kidnapping to Garner Sympathy Votes

Sumter, South Carolina police arrested a mayoral candidate this week after she confessed to faking her own kidnapping. Sabrina Belcher, 29, and her accomplice James Eaddy, 34, proved they were willing to break the law to stand out in a crowded field of six candidates vying to become mayor of Sumter, SC.

Belcher reported the supposed kidnapping attempt Tuesday night in what police say was an attempt to garner sympathy votes. According to Sumter police, Belcher had ongoing plans to smear all of the other mayoral candidates prior to the election.

Police Chief Russell Roark told reporters, “This was simply an effort to create disorder and discontent in our community for personal gain. As a result, a valuable number of resources, including personnel, manhours of the police department as well as local medical professionals, were wasted based on false information.”

After confessing to charges of conspiracy and filing a false report, Belcher was arrested and released on a $10,000 bond.

Mark Knowles told viewers of his Daily Wire program that Belcher serves as a commentary on the Democratic Party at large. With little belief in an exceptional America, they have little to run on besides “lies and smear tactics”.
