Hillary Clinton did not get the reception she probably expected while visiting Ireland. The former Secretary of State was in Belfast to get an award from Queen’s University. They made her an honorary chancellor, the first female to receive the title.
A 40 second video posted to Twitter shows Clinton, dressed in her chancellor robes, walking the University’s grounds, on her way to the ceremony. As she passes by one crowd they begin to shout at her. You can hear one person screaming “War Criminal!” at her, while another tells her to “Go F&*%” herself. Others shame Queen’s University for giving Clinton this honor.
Although Hillary refuses to let her dismay show on her face, it’s clear she is not well liked abroad as well as at home. Perhaps the crowd is unhappy with how she ignored Americans please for help in Benghazi or how flippantly she acted about the Americans whom she left to die at the US Consulate there. Or maybe it was her pay to play scandal in which she used her power and position as Secretary of State to make hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign leaders through her family trust. Hmmmm…
