The Biden border crisis is worse today than it has been at any point since he’s been in office. Thousands of unvetted foreign nationals—mostly fighting-aged male warriors—are pouring into the country every single day, because they know Joe Biden will let them in. He’s also paying them $2,200 a month if they show up with a child that may or may not even be theirs.
During a House Judiciary Committee hearing last week, a witness from the Cato Institute named Alex Nowrasteh testified about how awesome it is to have millions and millions of unvetted foreign invaders coming into the country.
The Cato Institute is a libertarian think tank that has this utopian vision of open borders for the entire world. They believe that the free flow of labor (workers) across borders is the ultimate expression of capitalism, and they only view mass immigration as a net positive because it crushes American worker wages.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) wasn’t having any of that song and dance. The fact is that unvetted foreigners flooding into a country present very real, material danger to the native population. Tens of thousands of Americans are victimized every single year by illegal aliens who have breached our southern border.
