As the Presidential Election approaches it appears the illusion that Joe Biden can be a unifying factor in American politics is fast fading away.
Biden’s latest endorsements and his unwillingness to disavow them confirms it’s business as usual for the Democratic candidate.
One example is an endorsement from prominent liberal activist and advocate for “Medicare for all,” Ady Barkan.
A supporter of Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts during the primaries, Barkan made a statement in a video saying, “Even though he wasn’t our first choice, I don’t think that progressives and democratic socialists should sit out the election, or vote third party, and I wanted to make that clear.”
Biden, who wants to present himself as a centrist, has long been opposed to Medicare for all. During the primaries, Biden refused to meet with Barkan who is confined to a wheelchair and communicates via his computer.
Chris Donaldson of Trending Politics observed, “Presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden has already scored the endorsements of Trump haters, former Bush regime ‘Republicans’ and celebrities and now his leftward lurch has landed the nod from an ideological fellow traveler.”
President Trump and Joe Biden are both pragmatists. The difference is, Trump wants what is practical for the country. Biden wants what is practical for him.
Watch the video as Gary Franchi of Next News Network reveals that an avowed American communist has endorsed Joe Biden and is so confident in him that he calls him “the next best thing” to Bernie Sanders. Now that’s a scary thought!
