The Biden regime doesn’t exactly get a lot of hard-hitting questions from reporters these days, but the upside to that is whenever they DO get pressed, they completely fall apart.
Journalist Sam Husseini confronted State Department spokesperson Matt Miller with a question that you could tell the Biden official was DEFINETLY not expecting.
Husseini questioned Miller over the American government’s role in funding gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where COVID leaked from.
“How much money went from USAID to the work at Wuhan and to their collaborator Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina to collect and make coronaviruses that are weaponized, that are more deadly?” he asked Miller.
The spokesperson was INSTANTLY rattled by the question and immediately defaulted to trying to discredit Husseini’s line of questioning before trying to quickly move on to another, more regime-friendly, reporter.
“So, I first of all reject the implicit accusation in that question and I do not have at my fingertips of the particular details of USAID funding,” Miller said.
Miller immediately tried to move on, telling a different journalist, “Go ahead.” But Husseini wasn’t planning on letting him off the hook that easily and he pressed again, “Are you saying for certain that no USAID money went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology? Please tell me.”
Miller carried on trying to weasel his way out of answering, but Husseini kept pushing back.

I’ve heard Fauci himself admitted that “SOME” of the US Aid may have been used in ‘gain of function” experiments, which MIGHT have escaped their poor control/protection procedures! This would explain why this COVID was first detected there in Wuhan!
Although Fauci wouldn’t use the term ‘gain of function’, his answer largely followed this!
