When a Montreal man stood on a sidewalk holding up a fact-based sign that stated, “Children Cannot Consent to Puberty Blockers,” upwards of seven Antifa criminals beat and robbed him on a public street. That incident would seem to run contrary to the image the country likes to project that people are more polite, well-mannered, and nicer than Americans.
Not only did no one come to the man’s defense, but a passerby he was talking to was also mugged. Oh Canada, Oh Canada!
What truly makes this story appear even more bizarre is the fact that the man’s message reflects long-established Canadian law. It’s factually correct that children cannot make significant medical decisions for themselves because they are too young and inexperienced to comprehend the long-term consequences.
The public beat-downs, however, are not necessarily because ANTIFA street gangs disagree with the country’s law. If that were the case, they would probably start a movement to have elected officials change them. No, the root of their attacks on good people is far more devious and destructive.
