Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is doing nothing while the nation’s airlines overcharge us for airfares, continue to cancel thousands of flights, and give over all bad service to customers.
Buttigieg is apparently the person that should have been addressing this problem all along. Yet he has done nothing.
But now that’s he’s been personally embarrassed and had a flight cancelled on him, immediately after talking to airline execs about their naughty behavior as of late, he claims help is on the way. But what kind of help can we really expect?
Not much, it seems. American Airlines just stopped flight in three more cities after widespread cancellations in recent weeks have stranded thousands of fliers.
All the COVID laws and restrictions pushed by the Biden admin have led to many people leaving the airline industry. Airlines are now running short on qualified staff after forcing massive amounts of them to retire during the pandemic and the trickle down is crushing the travel industry.
In addition to not being able to purchase gas at an affordable rate and ridiculous inflation during every aspect of travel, now those of us who purchase a flight don’t even know if we’ll actually be able to take it.
That’s another one we can thank the Biden administration for. It’s also an important one to remember for when you head to the ballot box in November to decide what kind of leaders you want to send to Washington to represent the nation in the days ahead. See the video for the full story now.
