Anytime there was a REMOTELY controversial race incident they could capitalize on, they did.
They especially were obsessed with using police-involved killings of black criminals to spread lies about how “innocent” the criminals were, and pretend to be raising funds for the family of that “victim.”
However deceitful, the strategy was effective and BLM raked in $90 million in donations from 2020 to 2022 according to their tax filings – but they certainly didn’t spend that money how their donors hoped they might.
The overwhelming majority of the money BLM received – 66% – did NOT go to charitable foundations to “help the black community.”
Just $30 million of those funds were spent trying to help Black Americans while the rest, was burned through by the Marxist founders who, like true communists, saw this as an excellent opportunity to redistribute the wealth… to themselves!
BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors, for example, spent several millions to buy herself luxury properties, and paid her dad $1.6 million for “security.”
