YouTube Tries to Shut Down Popular African-American Duo who Supports Trump

Watch out Google!

The Internet giant may have picked the wrong target in its quest to clamp down on conservative “extremism” when it de-monetized nearly all the videos of Diamond and Silk, two immensely popular YouTube broadcasters who have had their own channel promoting President Trump’s messages since 2015. As fellow YouTube media commentator Mark Dice relates, not only has President Trump appeared in person with Diamond and Silk at his rallies, the pair have recently been brought into the Commerce Department’s Minority Business Development Agency. With their viral videos, this is one set of hosts who Google (YouTube’s owner) may want to think twice about messing with.

In the past, Diamond and Silk (whose real names are Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson) have covered topics as diverse as North Korea, Hillary Clinton and Fake News. Like Mark Dice, they’re highly dependent on funds formerly brought in automatically from views of their videos. But the effort by the search giant to silence conservative voices may now backfire as it’s clearly brought the company’s obvious political biases into the spotlight.

Other YouTube hosts such as Infowars’ Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson have already decried the firm’s new policy, and it remains to be seen if Google will weather the fierce storm of criticism and backlash brewing among populist Trump supporters. If necessary, conservatives may want to think about switching video platforms or even coming up with their own. Watch as Mark Dice cheers on his fellow conservatives!
