By now you probably know that Congress and Joe Biden have betrayed the taxpayers again by passing a doorstopper of a funding bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The bill gives close to $100 billion to those three countries, with about $61 billion for Ukraine alone.
Not a single dime was spent on securing our southern border, helping homeless American vets, US infrastructure projects, or anything else that the people would support.
The dollar amount given to Ukraine is so astonishing that most people can’t wrap their head around it. For perspective, we decided to check total foreign aid that the US doles out to the rest of the world.
In 2023, the total foreign aid budget was $53 billion for 203 countries. Even Russia and China received foreign aid cash from us last year. That $53 billion was split up among 30,276 projects, however. Which means that the average amount that any other country received in a single cash infusion was about $1.8 million.
$61,000,000,000 for Ukraine.
$1,800,000 for any other country on earth.
The difference, obviously, is that Ukraine is a place where the offspring of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Mitt Romney, and John Kerry can get rich through shady business deals.
