A whistleblower from inside the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) revealed that the agency thinks of supporters of President-elect Donald Trump as being “domestic terrorists” while prioritizing an obsession with “equity” above all else.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed that the whistleblower reached out to his office and informed them of just how much the federal agency truly hates Trump supporters.
The whistleblower shared one notable instance which saw a FEMA worker knock on the door of a disabled veteran’s family in Georgia only to suggest that they get rid of any signage they had supporting Trump.
“He recommended that the family remove Trump campaign materials and signs from their house and yard, stating that his FEMA supervisors view Trump supporters as domestic terrorists,” Comer wrote on X.
The family, having just gone through the destruction of Hurricane Helene actually COMPLIED with this warning out of fear they would be discriminated against as a result of their political views.
“The elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid that they would not recover their loss that they removed the signs,” Comer said.
And to make matters worse, FEMA has not returned to their residence to help them get aid, and in all likelihood, probably won’t.
This federal agency is supposed to help people when they’re at their lowest – but instead, they’re trying to make Trump supporters suffer.
This whistleblower stepped forward right at the perfect time as FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell faced questions from the House Oversight Committee regarding prior admissions made by a FEMA employee that they are instructed to IGNORE homes with Trump signs.
Watch the video here to see Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) back the arrogant FEMA director into a corner during her hearing while she tried to pretend she had no idea this discrimination was happening under her watch.
.@fema workers were instructed to avoid providing disaster relief to Trump supporters.
It's time for FEMA to turn over ALL COMMUNICATIONS between Supervisors, Field Directors, and Upper-Level Management at the agency.
It's time for accountability.
This must NEVER happen again. pic.twitter.com/LTtAIY00Ge
