The mainstream media is sinking faster than the Titanic and rather than bothering to fix it – they’re spending their dying breaths attacking President Donald Trump.
According to a new study conducted by the Media Research Center (MRC) mainstream outlets like ABC, NBC, and CBS news have spent the first 100 days of President Trump’s second term SLAMMING HIM with 92% negative news coverage.
MRC analyzed each of the network’s primetime evening news shows to gauge this coverage and they found that since Jan. 20 through April 9, there were 899 stories that discussed President Trump or the Trump administration.
92.2% of the coverage was negative compared to only 7.8% positive.
“Just 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term, the broadcast evening news landscape is even more lopsided than it was eight years ago, when Trump was besieged with relentlessly hostile coverage,” MRC researcher Rich Noyes wrote.
Eight years ago, according to Noyes, the same exact study was done and it found that these networks attacked Trump with 89% negative coverage in his first 100 days.
In other words, while America has gotten more conservative and more pro-Trump, the mainstream media has only focused harder on trying to DEMONIZE him.
On top of that, these networks were basically obsessed with talking about Trump.
In that same time period, the networks aired 1,716 of Trump news compared to a measly 726 minutes of Biden coverage during these same weeks at the start of his term.
