As leftists in Canada shut down donations to the Freedom Convoy, and banks cut ties with anyone protesting in Ottawa, banks in America are being encouraged to cut ties with people and institutions the left doesn’t like. Ben Shapiro comments on the disturbing controversy over whether banks will defund Americans of their own money.
North of the border, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act on Monday to give the government even more power to battle against the peaceful protesters who simply want vaccine mandates ended. The power quickly spread to blocking crowdfunding dollars from being distributed to the Freedom Convoy.
Next, the Canadian government went even further, by granting Canadian banks the ability to shut down the bank accounts of those involved in the protest. Reports are starting to come in that this is already taking place.
Imagine the same scenario in America. You peacefully protest a government mandate and suddenly your bank says you have to find somewhere else to have your checking, savings, credit cards and mortgages at?
That doesn’t sound like democracy. That’s sound like total control, full socialism in operation, and it could be coming soon to our own nation. That’s why Shapiro and other conservatives have argued Americans should stand with the Freedom Convoy protesters. If their rights fall, ours could be next.
Keep in mind, Biden had a recent call with Trudeau where he encouraged him to use government power to put down the protesters. He’s already on board with the effort. It’s scary to think how close we’ve come to losing the rights of our own finances as the left’s power increases.

First off, that would be discrimination, pure and simple. There needs to be a standard as to what constitutes an emergency and truckers peacefully protesting isn’t one of those. That’s what they are arguing about in CANADA now. There is no violence. There are goods still moving. This shutting down bank accounts is patently illegal in the US. If you have Chase or BOA accounts..move them immediately. Then class action law suits should follow. Anyone coming out woke should go broke. This is Marxist crap that has failed everywhere. Don’t forget this when you vote. There needs to be a reckoning. A big one.
