When WikiLeaks released government sensitive information in connection with the monitoring of private citizens’ personal communication methods, Democrats cheered for the service, proclaiming it to be a benefit to the American public for uncovering such an encroachment of a person’s Constitutional rights. Despite the fact that governments monitoring private citizen communications has gone on since nearly the birth of human civilization and governance itself, the liberal left continually called out then President Bush.
The tables have turned now, as WikiLeaks has, over the last several years, continued to release information about government insiders and actions taken behind closed doors. Only now, Democrats are lambasting WikiLeaks as the information is damaging to the DNC.
Most recently, the head of WikiLeaks began releasing a picture essay on the Democratic Party and how the party itself is, in his words, “doomed.” While he cites statistical data, released government documentation and the current status of the party, much of it is his own opinion.
Democrats have come out, critiquing the picture essay (initially released on Twitter) for being conservative leaning, the fact of the matter is WikiLeaks is not a conservative or liberal website. It releases information on either side when it believes it is in the best interest of the American public (or the world public) to have access to the information. So what exactly does WikiLeaks have to say about the doomed Democratic Party? Check out the video to see it all for yourself.
