Former far-left radical Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz has completely lost her mind and is brazenly cheering on the murder of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, but political commentator Piers Morgan called her out to her face.
Thompson, was assassinated last week in New York outside of a Manhattan hotel. Following the murder, Lorenz posted on social media celebrating the death and advocating for more Healthcare execs to be killed in a similar fashion.
The liberal “journalist” joined Morgan on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” this week and while discussing the murder, Lorenz simply couldn’t stop smiling like a madwoman.
“I do believe in the sanctity of life and I think that’s why I felt, along with so many other Americans, joy, unfortunately,” Lorenz said.
Morgan asked for clarification, “Joy in a man’s execution?!”
He followed up, “We’re watching the footage. How can this make you joyful? This guy is a husband, he’s a father, and he’s being gunned down in the middle of Manhattan. Why does that make you joyful?”
Then he asked her if she thought all the healthcare executives should be killed and Lorenz delivered an uncertain “no” while laughing some more.
Morgan then further challenged the liberal reporter, “You seem to find the whole thing hilarious. A bloke’s being murdered in the street. I don’t find it funny at all.”
Disagreeing with the current set-up of our healthcare system is one thing, but cheering on and laughing about the murder of an innocent man is just plain disgusting.
But then again, are we really surprised? This is the kind of hatred that has infected the Democratic party over the past several years – they’re just not bothering to hide it anymore.
