Three retired generals warn of the dangers of a Trump coup in 2024, but it seems they are clearing the way to justify a left-wing military coup, according to conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza.
In 2020, Democrats accused the right of planning a coup. Some even sought to “root out” extremism in the military. But now the stage is being set for a leftist takeover as Biden-friendly leaders increasingly control military leadership.
Some generals have expressed concerns about the situation. The main concern they see is not a coup over who wins an election, but that division would allow an outside enemy the potential to damage America.
An all-out attack by a terrorist regime could have devastating impact during a time when the nation and even military members are divided about who leads the nation and who makes the call on defending the nation.
D’Souza says that most in the media only discuss what would happen if Trump or a Republican loses and seeks to do damage similar to Jan. 6. But he also notes there should be consideration of what would happen if the situation is reversed. What would leftist leaders do if a Republican wins in 2024 and there are doubts about the election?
